Looking for a particular format? There are coworking spaces in 173 towns and cities, serviced offices, virtual offices from £76 a month and registered business addresses.

The catalogue is built from operator listings, not adverts: 4,350 rooms and desks across 553 buildings, run by 20 operators. Every entry carries the floor area and the monthly price the operator quoted, and that price is confirmed when you enquire.

How coworkings.uk works

1
Choose a city, then a format
Start with any of 173 UK towns and cities, then narrow the listing to what you actually need: 522 coworking memberships, 2,898 private serviced offices, 465 virtual offices and 465 registered business addresses.
2
Compare the buildings themselves
Each of the 553 centres opens as its own page with photos, floor sizes and the price the operator quoted for each room, so you can shortlist from 4,350 listings before booking a single viewing. Every figure is a catalogue entry rather than a market rate, and the operator confirms it when you enquire.
3
Send one enquiry, free of charge
Tell us which buildings interest you and we pass the enquiry straight to the operator running that centre — Regus, Spaces, HQ and 17 other operators. We are neither the landlord nor the operator, and we never charge the tenant a fee.

Why companies choose Coworkings.uk

4,350 listings in 553 buildings across 173 UK cities and towns — with the address, the photographs and the asking rate on every one of them.

173 towns and cities covered

553 buildings across the whole country, not just the capital: London alone has 93 locations. Browse the full list of 173 UK locations.

4 formats for different jobs

2,898 serviced offices, 522 coworking spaces, 465 virtual offices and 465 business addresses. A desk for two days a week and a registered address for a new company are different jobs, so they get different pages — and virtual offices and business addresses are quoted per month rather than per m².

Real addresses, real photographs

All 553 buildings carry a full street address and map point, with 4,669 photographs of the actual space — 8.4 per building on average. See every listing with sizes and rates.

Free for the tenant

Enquiring about any of the 4,350 listings costs you nothing. We are not the operator and not the landlord: your enquiry goes to whichever of the 20 operators runs the building, and the rate you see is theirs, not ours.

Coworking and offices in London

London is the largest market in the catalogue: 93 flexible workspace locations across the capital, run by Spaces, The Clubhouse, Regus. Desks by the month, private offices and meeting rooms sit side by side, so a two-person team and a department of fifty search the same list.

The London set holds 446 private offices, from 5 to 700 m², starting at £140 a month, plus coworking in 43 buildings. Every figure is the one the operator quoted for that room, and it is confirmed when you enquire.

Questions we are asked about UK flexible offices

What does it cost to seat a team of five?
Two ways to do it, and the catalogue prices both. Five coworking memberships at the median rate come to about £910 a month. A private room sized for five — 799 listings in the catalogue between 25 and 60 m² — has a median of £1,540, so the typical room is closer to double the desks. The catch is the spread: the cheapest tenth of those rooms start at £780, and 106 of them — about 13% — are priced below five desks outright. Which means the format does not decide the bill; the individual building does. Shortlist both and compare the actual rooms. Compare private offices · compare coworking.
At what point is a private office cheaper than desks?
On the medians, later than most people expect. A desk runs £182 a month and a room for a small team £1,540, so a median room only pays for itself at about 8.5 people. Take the cheaper end of the room market instead — the tenth at £780 — and the crossover falls to roughly 4.3 people. The smallest private rooms on the site are 4 m², so a pair can take a door of their own long before the maths says they should, if they value the door. Both numbers come from this catalogue rather than a market survey, and the gap between operators in one city is usually wider than the gap between the two formats.
How much floor space does one person actually need?
UK flexible-space operators plan on roughly 6–10 m² per desk once you count the desk, circulation and a share of the meeting rooms. That is the arithmetic behind the sizes you see here: the median room in the catalogue is 65 m², which is a team of about two to four. Treat the m² figure on a listing as the room, not as the number of people the operator will let you put in it — the fire and building limits are theirs to confirm, and they do it on enquiry.
What is included in the monthly price, and what is billed on top?
For serviced offices and coworking the monthly figure normally carries the space, business rates, utilities, cleaning, reception and building Wi-Fi. Meeting-room hours beyond an allowance, parking, secure racks, extra passes and printing are the usual extras. We publish the rate the operator quoted for that room, not a bundled market average — what is inside that rate differs between operators, so it is worth asking for the inclusions in writing along with availability. Virtual offices and business addresses are quoted per month with no floor space at all, which is why they carry no per-m² rate here.
Where is there a real choice of buildings, and where is there not?
Honestly: the depth varies a lot. 23 towns and cities have five or more buildings in the catalogue, which is enough to compare and negotiate. Another 137 have one or two — there you are choosing a building, not a market. The largest sets are London (93 buildings), Manchester (54), Glasgow (24) and Edinburgh (19). If your shortlist is in a thin town, it is usually worth checking the nearest larger one before you commit. See every town and city we cover.
Why might the operator quote a different price from the one shown here?
Because the number here is a catalogue entry and theirs is today's availability. Flexible-space pricing moves with occupancy: a floor that is filling up gets dearer, a floor with three empty rooms gets a discount that never appears in any list. We publish what the operator gave us for that room and pass your enquiry straight to them; the rate that counts is the one they confirm for the space you picked, and it can land either side of ours.
Does it matter which operator runs the building?
The catalogue covers 20 operators, and the differences are practical rather than cosmetic: how meeting-room credits work, whether a membership is usable in their other buildings, what notice period they ask for, how the reception is staffed. The building decides the commute; the operator decides the day-to-day. Both are on every listing, so you can shortlist by either.
How much does a coworking space cost in the UK?
The catalogue holds 522 coworking listings in 173 towns and cities. The median is £182 a month per desk, and the cheapest tenth are £128 a month or less. Every figure here is what the operator quoted for that particular desk — these are catalogue numbers, not a market survey, and the operator confirms the current rate when you enquire. Browse coworking across the UK.
How much does a serviced office cost?
There are 2,898 private office listings in 173 towns and cities, and they are the bulk of the catalogue. The median suite in the catalogue is 65 m² at £2,494 a month; the cheapest tenth are £560 a month or less. The smallest rooms on the site are 4 m², so a two-person team can still take a private office rather than a desk. Browse serviced offices across the UK.
What is the difference between a virtual office and a registered business address?
A business address gives you the address itself, for your post and your paperwork: 465 listings, median £72 a month, with the cheapest tenth at £56 or less. A virtual office is the same address plus the services an operator sells around it — mail handling, call answering, meeting rooms by the hour — and costs more: 465 listings, median £104 a month. What exactly is bundled differs from operator to operator, so we publish the address and the monthly price and leave the package to them. Neither format comes with floor space, which is why both are shown as a price per month and not as a rate per m². Virtual offices · Registered business addresses.
Can I register a company at one of these addresses?
That is what the 930 virtual office and business address listings in the catalogue are sold as. Whether a particular address may be used for your Companies House registration and for HMRC post is the operator’s decision, not ours — we are neither the operator nor the landlord. Send an enquiry on the address you want and the operator confirms it for that building before you pay anything.
How long do I have to commit for?
All 4,350 listings in 553 buildings are quoted as a monthly price, because this is how flexible workspace is sold in the UK: by the month, not on a multi-year lease with a rent review. The minimum term itself is set by the operator and differs from building to building, and we do not sign the agreement, so we cannot fix a term on their behalf. Ask on the listing you like and the term comes back with the availability.
Do you charge tenants a fee or commission?
No. Searching, comparing and enquiring is free for the tenant, and there is nothing to sign up for: all 553 buildings, 4,350 listings and 173 cities are open to read without an account. We are not the operator and not the landlord — we publish their space and pass your enquiry on. See the whole catalogue.
