Serviced offices in Guildford

It depends on how the address is entered in the rating list. Where the whole building is one assessment, the operator is the rateable occupier and rates sit inside the monthly fee; where your suite is assessed on its own, the bill comes to you from the council. Ask which applies before comparing two quotes at the 6 serviced buildings in Guildford — a rateable value of £12,000 or less carries 100% small business rate relief in England, tapering to nil by £15,000.

Private rooms listed in Guildford run from 12 to 220 m², which covers everything from a one-person room to a whole floor. The legal floor in Britain is 11 m³ of empty volume per person, counting ceiling height only up to 3 m — about 4.6 m² each at a 2.4 m ceiling — so the 33 listings on this page are read against that minimum, not against a rule of thumb.
